...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 AM

EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow showers are expected with snow squalls possible.

Expect snow accumulations of up to 2 inches with locally higher

amounts where snow showers are most persistent. Winds gusting as

high as 35 mph as temperatures fall into the 20s at lower

elevations and teens above 2,500 feet. Sudden visibility

reductions to 1/4 mile or less will be possible in snow squalls.

* WHERE...Harlan and Letcher Counties.

* WHEN...From noon today to 8 AM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions, especially at

elevations above 2,500 feet. The hazardous conditions could impact

the Monday evening commute.
