and southeastern Val Verde Counties through 200 AM CDT...

At 111 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Del Rio, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is

possible.

Locations impacted include...

Del Rio, Val Verde Park, Standart, Cienegas Terrace, Amanda, Laughlin

AFB, and Escondido Estates.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

At 202 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Midtown, or over

Atlanta, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to

ground lightning.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of

light, unsecured objects.
