Surf Zone Forecast

National Weather Service Tallahassee FL

.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Moderate onshore southwesterly breezes will keep a high risk of rip

currents going for Walton, Bay, and Gulf County beaches through

Tuesday. Southwest breezes will decrease substantially on Tuesday

night, so surf heights and rip risk will steadily decrease on Tuesday

night and Wednesday. High pressure and light winds over the Gulf on

Thursday and Friday will hold down the risk of rip currents.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags

are flying at area beaches:

Walton........................Red

Bay...........................Red
