/MIDNIGHT CST/ THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Freezing fog with visibility around a quarter of a mile and
leading to light ice accumulations.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, northwest
and west central Kansas, and southwest Nebraska.
* WHEN...Until 11 PM MST /midnight CST/ this evening.
* IMPACTS...Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, could become
slick and hazardous.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
Persons traveling on Interstate 70 will experience travel delays and
hazardous driving conditions. Use extreme caution if you must travel.
Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
