* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
between 3 and 7 inches, heaviest across northern portions of the
county.
* WHERE...Portage County.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow on Sunday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widespread snow is exiting late this evening.
Lake effect snow squalls will develop Sunday morning and continue
through Sunday evening before ending. Snow squalls may produce
near zero visibility and snow rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour at
times on Sunday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.

lower end of the accumulation range. Winds gusting as high as 35
mph.
* WHERE...Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Cuyahoga, Geauga,
and Lake Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow on Sunday.
